Task-boxes for children with special needs

March 2016

Recently, we donated a collection of “Eendoostaken” (roughly translated One-box-tasks) to Scoala Gimnaziala Speciala ”Constantin Paunescu”. This school in Bucharest, Romania provides educational and therapeutic-remedial assistance for children with mental disabilities of varying degrees, children with impaired neuromotor associated with other types of disabilities. The school offers programs specific intervention for children with Down syndrome, autism, ADHD (attention deficit disorder, hyperkinesia) and associated disabilities.

Eendoostaken

Eendoostaken are specifically designed for children with autism and help them to gain or maintain skills or as a relaxing activity. Together with Michel of Eendoostaken a collection of 10 boxes was assembled which were shipped to Romania.
