With its certified chronometric precision, certified anti-magnetic properties and highly legible dial, the Venturist is a sturdy yet refined tool watch for those who dare to venture.
Every individual Venturist is tested in Geneva for 21 days in order to receive the ‘Observatoire Chronométrique+’ certificate, a guarantee issued by independent Swiss horology laboratory TIMELAB. The guarantee covers the finished watch and extends to other aspects relating to its reliability such as water resistance (ISO 22810), magnetic resistance (ISO 764), power reserve and performance on the wrist, in conditions representative of modern life.

Venturist Shareholder Package
For a limited time, Lebois & Co offers the Venturist in a shareholder package along with shares of the company (25 share certificates, representing an investment of € 1,000).
Venturist timepieces that are bought in the shareholder package will be manufactured in a first batch and have a unique shareholder hallmark on the case back. This special hallmark will be present only on the watches that are bought with the initial shareholder package.

About Raymond Dodane and the watch brand he founded in 1934
Early 2014 Tom van Wijlick and his wife Eveline come across a picture of a beautiful Swiss Made vintage chronograph watch which was sold at an auction by Christie’s. We print the picture and stick it to our fridge. Being struck by the beauty of this timepiece we start our research of this unfamiliar brand and their former owners. The study leads to Lebois & Co, a brand founded in 1934 by Raymond Dodane who belongs to the third generation of the Dodane watchmaking family.
Upon the approval of the Dodane family Lebois & Co is resurrected, exactly eighty years after the original company was founded.
